Sierra Bakehouse in Truckee, CA is hiring the full time position of Head Pastry chef/Bread Baker.

We are a mountain town bakery currently open to the public on Fridays. We have a full week of baking shifts to prepare for our Friday sale. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join us, master our daily operations, and potentially take a leadership and assistant management role. Our bakery team is small and we care deeply about creating interesting high quality products to offer our customers. We make everything in house and rely on seasonal produce and flavors to come up with our menu each week.

Commercial kitchen experience is required. Must be familiar with laminated doughs, scaling, mixing, baking and decorating.

Compensation based on experience, $25-$30 per hr. plus tips. 1 week PTO available after 1 year, discounts, meals and other benefits available.
