Fatapple’s is a scratch bakery and restaurant that has been a Berkeley institution since 1969, with a second location in nearby El Cerrito. We are looking for a Bakery Manager to lead our bread and pastry program, someone who can honor decades of tradition while bringing fresh ideas and personal creativity to the case.

Responsibilities:

• Run day-to-day bakery operations across both locations. 
• Build out a bread program for our retail bakery, pie shop, and full-service restaurant. 
• Develop new pastry offerings alongside our existing recipes. Manage and mentor bakery staff.

Requirements:

• Hands-on baking experience is required; professional training such as SFBI or CIA is a plus, but skill and passion for the craft matter more than pedigree. 
• We want someone who wants ownership over a program, not just execution, and who is comfortable balancing established customer favorites with new creative direction.
