A Rare Opportunity to Serve the Community You Love
At the end of December 2021, three of our fantastic board members will have completed their service and tenure with the board. As a result, we need three members who value volunteerism to begin their service to the BBGA community. We are an all-volunteer working board that is committed to advancing the mission and vision of the BBGA.

If you would like to be considered to serve on the board or know of someone you think would be a great addition to the board, please submit a nomination by August 31st. During September, the nominees will be interviewed by the current board members. By the end of October, the board will vote on the candidates and announce the three new board members. The term of service is three years beginning in January 2022.

If you have never considered or have considered but never submitted or have submitted before, please consider doing so now. We value members who have supported committees, taught classes, advised the board, gone through certification, volunteered at events, classes or Wheatstalks in the past. We value participation and involvement because this is the engine that drives this organization.

Our collaborative style of working relies on skills that may include, Membership, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Fundraising, Bread Lines, Certification, Apprenticeship, and trade events including Wheatstalk. One of the three positions on the board that we need to fill is the treasurer’s position. This position is best served by someone who possesses legal and financial proficiency. If you have these skills please consider nominating yourself.

We look forward to the opportunity to enrich our board and collaborate with new members' perspectives and ideas in an effort to serve the membership.
