Just in time for Mother's Day, baking champion Déborah Libs will teach stunning tricolor lamination, festive fillings and creative shaping.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
World Master Baker Déborah Libs' passion for baking was ignited as a child, baking breads and cakes with her mother. At 15, she became a bakery and pastry apprentice, and she entered her first competition the next year and won Best Young Baker of France. She became more inspired to understand technique and started formal training, earring her master’s certificate in 2012.
Déborah went on to win the Gold medal at IBA Cup in both 2009 and 2014, becoming Champion of France in Viennoiserie. As part of Team France, she earned a Bronze Medal at the Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie, and became World Master Baker in February 2018 at the Masters de la Boulangerie, specializing in Viennoiserie.
Déborah has lived in Chicago since 2019, where she is a valued part of the team at La Fournette.
